Staff were really friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was reasonable. Room was at the top of the property, narrow staircase bit tricky but we managed.

Noisy
Disappointing. There was a loud disco until 1am. Noise travelled a lot through the door. The room floor was quite wonky and the room a bit small and shabby. It was too hot. The lamp kept sliding off the bedside table and it was too bright for a lamp. The breakfast was good. The staff were polite and friendly.

Delicious food
I was attracted by the breakfast and turned out it was not disappointed me! The breakfast was the best throughout my 16-day travel in UK. It was definitely worthy. Besides, the staff there was very friendly and helpful. I arrived much earlier than the official check in time but they still offered me a room immediately with no extra fee. The bathroom was very large and clean. They got a Sport bar where people gathered to watch football match together with beers. So much fun! P.S. The dinner was also great. They got a very good cook!

We’d stay again!
The staff were all really nice and very welcoming. The food we had was excellent and a really nice family atmosphere. The only slight issue we had was with the room, but simply because my husband is over 6ft tall and we were in the attic room with slopped ceiling. He had to crouch a lot. It was otherwise comfortable though.

From the moment we arrived until we left we found everything was great.All the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble.Breakfast was lovely and we ate in the dining room both nights, thoroughly enjoyable.Both my friend and I would definitely stay here again

Overall - adequate
Lounge bar and restaurant were fine. It's an old building and a bit dirty and shabby in several areas. Accommodation cost is overpriced. It was interesting to visit Shipston for one night only
