Breakfast was served 8-9 am and I had to leave by 8, but the chef was able to do an early breakfast for me and I was made to feel very welcome.

Filth smelly carpet welcome
Accomodation was very tired with the filthiest and smelliest carpet on the stairs that I have ever seen. It does seem as though some improvements are being made but that carpet should be a priority. Staff are nice and friendly and the food was good.

I wasn’t alive in the 1970’s but after one night in this establishment I feel like I was. Every expense is spared and the rooms are awful as are the communal areas. Everywhere looks dirty and is in desperate need of an update. The TV was the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel room. There were also people smoking outside our room so you can look forward to an audience whenever you look out the window at any given time of the day or night. It’s incredible that there is an AA 4* sticker in the window, I cannot imagine how it would relate to this property. I have absolutely nothing positive to say about the room or facilities. Breakfast, on the other hand, was very pleasant but not enough to redeem the multiple other failings! Stay elsewhere!
