Crystal Hotel

Easy to find and staff was friendly. Not near a railway station probably an 8 minute walk. Not active neighborhood . Quiet.

Overall is good.. just the location abit of a walking distance to mrt. Staff is friendly and attentive.

The hotel and the room that was given to us looks old and rundown. Bed is a bit hard and not as comfortable. Toilet also has a problem as the floor gets wet easily. Room and toilet were spacious though. Other rooms we saw seems a little bit newer or newly renovated. Service was satisfactory as we requested them to clean our room daily and toiletries and amenities were also replenished. Location was far from the nearest MRT or train station, around 600 meters. Good thing there were supermarkets nearby where you can get your daily needs. Overall, if you're just looking for a cheap, no frills accommodation, then Crystal Hotel maybe the one for you.

Only stay here as a last resort. There was no window in our room, water damage on the walls, which were also crumbling, They clearly did not clean the floors and shower etc, as someone else's hair was all over. They didn't even wipe the counters. The towels were ripped, the bed felt like I was sleeping on a cardboard box. Just a garbage hotel all around. Don't waste your money. Oh yeah - and the cups in the room for coffee were not even cleaned!!! They had old coffee in them!!!!

It was generally OK.

- room was in TERRIBLE condition, hair that wasn't ours was everywhere, and there were even random socks left from other people's visits before - most hotels give you bottles of water to drink. When I asked for an extra bottle, they said they would have to charge me an additional 60 NTD - there was no air circulation in the room. They insisted there was. I tried all the things they said to trouble shoot. When I finally managed to convince them to come look at the thermostat, they decided to say that due to it being winter (late February) they had all centralized air conditioning off. I advised there wasn't even air and they said they've turned off all the air circulation. The only thing they were willing to do was provide me with a standing fan. Which was NOT enough to keep air in the room moving. - bathroom had no lock on it and it was broken - the shower had no curtain and sprayed water everywhere - the faucets leaked and flooded the bathroom floor constantly - there was hair underneath the bedsheets and in the pillows - the towels had holes and stains - the room was terribly run down, paint chipped everywhere, trim was falling apart, paint peeling off the doors and knobs, no electronic lock, key card was literally a key

..and adequate for travelers.
