It was not a pleasant experience.. The room we were alloted had the curtain missing from toilet exposing it to the room.. When reported by me the attitude of the staff was callous and they did not take any swift action and just blamed it on their own maintenance staff.. The shower was defective and the maintenance guy just told me that no plumber was available and I need to wait till morning.. Even in the morning Noone came to repair.. When I ordered the food they did not tell how long it will take and it was just endless wait.. When I called they will just lie and tell me it's on the way.. Overall a horrible experience.. It's a good property next to a shopping mall but has poor staff attitude and poor service and maintenance..

Impressive hotel next to a shopping Mall
Very impressed with the hotel. Was very convenient for the purpose we were in- to be near our relatives in Nagavara who were surprised that such a nice hotel existed in the area. Breakfast was excellent. Can’t say the same about the food in the restaurant. Was quite expensive. Was shocked to see they had charged 450rs for a bottle of water. We were a group of 10 people at the restaurant and paid Rs 1350 for 3 bottles just for the water Elementis Mall within the same complex was an added bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful .The only drawback was-room was not cleaned every day and we had to remind the cleaners to do our room. Overall a very pleasing experience at the hotel and enjoyed the stay. Would definitely go back if I were to go to Bangalore again.

Comfortable stay for a business trip
The staff is warm and courteous and make you feel welcome.The rooms are spacious with a comfy bed and clean bathrooms. The breakfast spread has sufficient variety and is of good quality. The hotel is conveniently located for those on business trips with work in Manyata Tech Park. I will stay again on my next work trip.

Comfortable hotel with convenient access from the airport (compared to other similar choices). Room was comfortable and well appointed. Room service was prompt and breakfast buffet was lavish.

The Reception Team were very helpful, especially Susmita the Front Duty Manager who assisted me with a number of details in arranging Uber and Ola taxi's for me, plus where to find the nearest ATM etc...all so appreciated...and Susmita did it all with a pleasantness kindness. As well, Viykash at Reception was helpful and kind. Given the great service, clean and comfortable rooms, good buffet breakfast and other amenities the HoJo Bangalore Hebbal is a very good deal for the money!

Requested non-smoking room on Hotels.com. Smoking room was allotted. I was told that I will be shifted to a non-smoking room the next day. Nothing happened. Spoke to the manager few times. 3 nights stay and the room was offered on the third day. My wife who is highly allergic to smoking fell ill and had to get medical help. Waiting time for check in was 20 minutes. System was down and rebooting time was 20 minutes. There was a waiting period of 20 minutes for breakfast on the first day. Explanation was given that 8 - 9am is a very busy time. Staff not adequately trained. Explained my difficulties with the manager and was offered a free ride to the airport as compensation. Did not take the offer as I had already booked the taxi. I had stayed at Howard Johnson in other countries and I had good experiences. I will not recommend Howard Johnson at Bangalore to anyone.
