Sileo Hotel

Lovely hotel, room (overlooking the cemetery), and superb location. Breakfast could be better; coffee not great but there are excellent coffee shops close by.

The decor is dated, and if you get a backward facing room the view is anything but nice. Also, you need to keep your key in the room for it to have power so it’s basically impossible to leave the air conditioning on. Every time I came back it was like 85 degrees inside the room and had to wait over half an hour for it to cool down.

We stayed in room 801, the penthouse suite with a view over the Recoleta Cemetery. It is a lovely room with kitchen facilities but the fridge struggles in the summer heat. We got ice from the bar when required. The neighbourhood is good, the bed comfortable, room well-cleaned and the breakfasts are above average compared to some we have had.

Absolutely loved this small, quaint and pretty little place. The pool was fabulous, the breakfest terrific and the room so servicable and clean...couldn't have been more impressed. Only issue we had was no internet for two days and despite calls to the desk it was never fixed -so we went to the lobby had a fresh hot coffee and answered our emails there instead.

The hotel is in a perfect location for a few days, walkable to all that the Recolleta area offers. Liked · The room was spacious, clean, and attractive. The bathroom was very very nice, complete with bidet and excellent walk-in shower with water temperature completely controllable. The room had a little kitchen with fridge, stove-top, and sink. The roof-top pool was lovely and there was a sauna and exercize area as well with a view of the Recoletta Cemetery from the 9th floor. The breakfast was fine, in that the eggs were fresh as was the bread and fruit. Disliked · The cereal selections were limited to children's cereals. The breakfast offerings did not change at all during our three mornings. The desk staff were helpful, but felt patronizing.

nice location, nice view, unfortunately noisy inside (elevator-noise, neighbours)

Loved our stay here and would definitely come back. Staff are very friendly and do whatever they can to make you comfortable. Room was comfortable and having a mini kitchen was nice. Breakfast buffet had lots of options to start the day. Located across from the beautiful Recoleta Cemetery, it’s a few blocks to a hop-on, hop-off bus stop and close to a variety of restaurants, bars/brewery and shops.

Excellent location in Recoleta district. Close to restaurants and pubs. It is a distance from Old Town but we were able to walk to it within 30 mins. Taxis are incredible reasonable if you chose not to walk. Lovely rooftop patio with small pool. Staff were incredibly helpful and breakfast was very good with lots of options.
