Bowness Guest House

Michelle was very welcoming, allowing us to check in early and showing us to a parking space. We had our own entrance/ exit and the place was spotlessly clean. The room was spacious and modern with a very comfy bed and fabulous shower. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful stay at Bowness Guest House. Brilliant room with plenty of space. The hosts Michelle and her husband were very friendly and customer focussed who went the extra mile. We even got a text earlier in the day to say our room was ready and that we could arrive earlier than normal check in time. We will certainly be back in the future. The only disappointment was that we only stayed one night!!

On arrival we were greeted by Michelle. She was professional and welcoming. She took us to our room which was lovely, clean and had a homely feel. Big enough room for two with a comfy bed. The location of the guest house was great lots of great things to do within walking distance. Michelle recommended a few places to visit which was also nice. We would 100% stay at bowness guest house again.

Lovely rooms, very modern. Comfy bed. In a good location, easy 5minutes walk to centre (Bowness), were there are good restaurants. Great for walking. No option for breakfast, but lots of options in centre to nip for breakfast. Really welcoming host. Would recommend.

Exceptional ! Hubby and I stayed here for just 1 night whilst visiting the lakes. It was spotless and had everything you needed in the room . The couple who ran the guest house were so friendly and so helpful telling us the best places to park, eat, go etc. Would definitely stay again without hesitation.

The owners welcomed us upon our arrival and asked us what kind of week we wanted, they generously gave us recommendations on walks, pub's, food and times so that we could miss peak busy times, etc, which was greatly welcomed. We had a lovely stay, clean accommodation, very quiet, warm drinks readily available, clean towels and everything we could have wished for a nice couples retreat. Hoping to return next year to do some walks with the owners !!!

Amazing stay and brilliant location! We had a very welcoming stay, the Host was lovely and really helpful! Room was spotless, the bed was so comfortable and room lovely and bright in the day, peaceful and dark in the night. 5 min walk into town with all the shops and restaurants, 10min walk to the Lake :) Thank you, we hope to be back again!

Great stay. Perfect location and ideal for dogs with its own door into the room. Nice little touches with the dog treats and poo bags. Would definitely stay again.

We have just recently got back from a weekend stay at Bowness Guest house. The owners was an absolute delight! Friendly, helpful and accommodating, it was our first trip up to the lakes so we didn’t really know what to do or where is best to go, Michelle was really helpful and gave us lots of information to make sure we had more than enough to decide on! Room was modern, bright, spacious and very clean, the bed was super comfortable with an great quality linen. The location is also really great you are not far from at the main town with about a 5 minute walk and about 10 minutes to the lake! I would totally recommend staying here it gets a 5* from me and my partner!
