As anyone knows who has stayed in Seaside Heights, the most important thing in booking a hotel is finding one that is reasonably clean. This place was fine. It’s not the fanciest, but the owners were among the most helpful and nicest people I’ve dealt with anywhere. Very close to boardwalk and beach.

The "Above Average" rating is not accurate.
I chose this hotel based on the rating. It was rated an 8 or close to it, but I was surprised to find it was very run down. While they must do a basic clean regularly, our room was in dire need of deep cleaning and a paint job. For example, there was mildew inside the knobs in the shower and sink. Our chargers fell out of the wall sockets, and the socket in the bathroom was so dirty I was afraid to plug anything in. No one cleaned our room after our first night, which perhaps isn't typical in a lower priced motel. I realize I chose a budget motel, and perhaps I don't understand the scale by which it was rated above average, but I did expect something cleaner with evidence of regular maintenance and upkeep. I would have left, but we dealt with it for the two nights we were there. There were some positives. It was close to the beach and boardwalk, we felt safe, and we did get two complimentary beach passes. After this experience, I do not trust the ratings at Hotels.com.

The owners were very sweet and accommodating during our stay! The rooms were very clean which I was happy about. Quick and easy check in and check out would absolutely stay again! Also in the most perfect location!

This is a nice motel. Very close to the beach with parking and beach tags. We had a very nice time.

Grounds were clean, room was clean and tidy, check in people were especially nice. I didn’t give a perfect rating because of the noise. There was a loud party till like 2am. Other than that I would recommend.

Hotel was ok.Not fond of the plastic mattress pad on the mattress.Typical beach hotel not great but not horrible.I have definitely stayed in worse.

Nice owners and clean needs paint job on trim - very expensive for what you get. If you are a teenager looking for somewhere to crash it’s fine.
