Dormy Inn Premium Namba Natural Hot Spring

This hotel is very central. conveniently located to many restaurants and tourist sites. About 10 minutes walk from Namba train station. Their service was ok. The staffs spoke a tiny bit of English. Our room was just big enough for my wife and I. Would be nice if the room was equipped with heater. Was quite cold as we went in January. I read on one their pamphlets that the guest will be given a bowl of instant noodle daily, per person. We didn’t get that. Our room had 2 bottles of water and 2 pack of instant coffee, but those were not replenished. Clean towels came daily. Overall we stayed there for 5 days, and had a satisfied experience.

If you want a box to sleep in that’s in the heart of the Dotonbori then this is the hotel for you. The rooms are tiny, there’s no padding between the walls so you can hear everyone. Our room smelt badly of cigarette smoke on our first morning, even though our floor was a non-smoking floor. It was generally clean & staff were helpful.

The onsen is excellent. The room was small by American standards but ok.

Toilet badly smell. Shirt for spa use obviously was not being washed! Many things quite dusty. On sen is small and water not as hot as other Japanese onsen. Good part is the price and location close to 道頓崛.... This is the worst dormy inn that I have stayed so far.

Hotel room is very small unless you get a bigger room category. Otherwise, hotel is generally clean and polite staff. Love the complimentary ramen and a Family Mart conveniently located at the hotel lobby..

they say they provide parking but it is not in the same building. They only show us to public parking lot a few blocks away

The Dormy Inn Namba was our third Dormy Inn of our 3-week long vacation. As usual, a great breakfast buffet, a nice onsen (the ones at the Namba location are huge!) and free laundry. A thing that bothered us was that our non-smoking room was on the same floor as the smoking area and in the morning, we could smell the smoke coming through the ventilation vent in the toilet. This should be addressed by the hotel. The hotel is walking distance to many popular Osaka areas (Dotonbori, Namba City and Nippombashi).

The room is very clear. However, the room said can fix 4 people but the bed are too small to sleep 2 people.

Very nice staff and room a nice size for price. Not the most spectacular onsen but nice to have it included regardless. Main complaints would be the single very thin pillow provided which led to many difficulties sleeping. Also had a room af the end of the corridor where the WiFi did not reach well which was frustrating, often had to sit outside room in corridor to use Internet properly.
