Bridgeview Farmhouse

Very friendly and welcoming. Marian is a great host and eager to please. Room was comfortable, huge breakfast and beautiful view. Couldn't have asked for more.

As other guests have commented on, the choice at breakfast was very good. However, we did feel that our hostess should have had some help in the kitchen. We had to wait a while for drinks to be provided whereas in other guest houses we stayed in, fruit juice was available in the dining room for us to help ourselves whilst waiting for hot drinks. There was no provision of tea and coffee or a television in our room although these were provided downstairs with a supply of scones. We weren’t told until we arrived that payment had to be in cash as debit/credit cards weren’t accepted. Overall we felt that Bridgeview would benefit from some professional advice to bring it up to today’s standards.

Marion goes the distance to ensure our needs are met : A text with exact directions/ much better than GPS!!! She presented us with an early breakfast that also became part of our lunch. My husband enjoyed a glass of Baileys Irish Cream. My first taste of it; may consider it with vanilla bean ice cream. Our room was just right: great sleep, great view of the Bridge ( our rooms name). Lily the dog got the pits and tummy rubbed with her tail thumping. WiFi excellent. Garden gorgeous. Would wish we could stay longer/return Dinner at the Pink Elephant; yummy $$$ but we were tired and ate light and affordable. A plus: close by with an awesome view of the bay/ harbor. Plus she’s a hostess bar none.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The service was excellent and Marion provided great food and hospitality. She offered a selection of breakfasts. Her scones and jams were homemade and delicious. The on suite bathroom was spacious. Beautiful views from the windows, and in addition, we loved her friendly dog Lily.

Wonderful location, comfortable room, friendly Irish welcome. We were totally spoilt from the time we walked into this beautiful house over looking the water and rolling green hills. We would recommend this B&an to any traveller.

Marion s an excellent hostess .. wethoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bridgeview. Absolutely wonderful breakfast .. the scones and homemade jam were awesome .. the views were awesome!

Beautiful views, delicious food, and the best sleep in Ireland after over two weeks of travel. Highly recommend!

The hostess went out of her way to be hospitable.The home cooking was great.The location was fabulous but a little hard to locate.We would go again.
