Fletcher Wellness-Hotel Leiden

Average Hotel, with the worst reception staff I have ever experienced. We definitely would never go back.

Clean comfortable and excellent customer service

The hotel is extremely well located. Right on top of Leiden Central Station, which station has excellent connections to other train stations in the Netherlands. The quality of this hotel however has decreased considerably since it became part of the Fletcher Hotel Group

Comfortable rooms. Next to train station. Good breakfast. Restaurant is good. Comfortable bed. Good wifi

Very expensive for an hotel that I would give max 2 stars , the room looks like a cheap and old studio apartment

Great hotel but difficult to get through the central station. As hotel is on the university side.

Mijn vriendin was eerder maar mocht niet de hotel kamer in en ook niet de garage.....ik moest bellen en boos worden. Alles was al betaald...... In het restaurant kregen we verkeerde biertjes. De bediening ging in discussie.....dat is niet correct (mijn vrouw ontplofte bijna door haar houding). Klant is koning; sorrie u krijgt een nieuwe had antwoord moeten zijn. Voordat eten op tafel kwam bleek dat de bestelling niet doorgegeven was. Tijdens afrekenen stonden er drankjes op die niet van ons waren. Bediening zei; dat klopt we halen het er vanaf....half uur later met afrekenen stond het nog op de bon. Personeel houdt niet in de gaten of drankjes op zijn....moeten veel vaker langs komen.

Excellent location to the city centre and train station. Pleasant hotel, but our room was hot and stuffy. The room looked as though it was a converted office space and lacked adequate air conditioning. There was a portable air conditioning unit provided, but far too noisy to use at night, which meant that we couldn't use it for sleeping. This resulted in having poor quality sleep. Thin walls in the room also meant we could hear everything during the night. Despite it being a nice hotel, I would not recommend purely for the fact that we could hardly sleep!

Was upset that the ‘wellness’ part was separate from the hotel. There is a charge to use the facilities so shouldn’t feature so prominently on the info pages. No clothes to be worn at all in the pool from 9.30 am so my teenage son was not comfortable and as a result we did not go although it was the main reason for booking. Climate control didn’t work well and room was very hot. It was sugggested that we open the windows to get cool. Breakfast good and plentiful- room large and clean - no real lounge area - felt more for business people rather than a family holiday hotel. It was a ten minute walk to the more picturesque parts of leiden. Parking good
