Hanoi Pearl Hotel

Hanoi Pearl Hotel is situated in the heart of the Hoan Kiem district. Just excellent location for everything ( all the tourist spots, restaurants, of course massage spas). Our triple room was spacious and clean, great bathroom w/ bathtub was decorated with Mable stones. We enjoyed free breakfast buffet starts at 6am. Nice selections, foods were delicious! But their strongest part is their staffs. They smile from their hearts and willing to assist their clients with any issues. Three of us booked two days Halong Bay Cruise with Trang/ Guest relations officer. Her thoughtful recommendations made our cruise trip experience successful and memorable. Front desk staffs were amazing too. They brought extra portable heater for my mom and she had a really comfortable sleep at night. We definitely will stay again at Hanoi Pearl Hotel whenever we visit to Hanoi.

Nice location, great breakfast but I asked for a Grab taxi to the airport and got a rip-off taxi service. Fare was twice what it should have been. It was a metered taxi. Felt totally betrayed by the staff. I’ll never stay there again. It’s not the money but the intent was absolutely despicable. Never again!!!

The property is a wonderfully maintained older building that has all of the architectural character of a mid-20th century hotel. The service was wonderful, the staff very attentive. We are Americans who don't speak the native language. The staff's proficiency in English was excellent. The Hotel is about a quarter mile from the heart of the Old Quarter, which is just far enough away from the nightly chaos! It has a cooking school around the corner, a custom tailor next door, an excellent Pho restaurant across the street, a water puppet theater a block and a half away. Need I go on? The one gripe I have is the bed. At 5-11, I am not extraordinarily tall by US standards, but the bed was noticeably shorter than my bed at home. Also, as was my experience throughout my Asia vacation, the bed was SIGNIFICANTLY harder than my bed at home.

We stayed here for one night in transit, and the staff was very friendly, and super helpful. We left early the next morning, but a few days later on our way back through Hanoi, we got dropped off here while we waited for our next ride. Although we weren't booked again for another night, they treated us the same, and were extremely helpful. They spoke to our driver for us (we don't speak vietnamese) and walked us to our car which was down the street.The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel was very new and clean. Overall we were very happy with our stay

Nice hotel, great location in old quarter (walk to everything, lake, shops, street food) and very friendly staff. We had a suite, and the room was very nice, and the WiFi worked well. Would recommend, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the friendly staff. Tip- Very expensive laundry, go out on the street and have it done for cheap. Also, the gym is very small and equipment is old, but we were glad to have it at all.

An absolutely fabulous hotel, right in the middle of Hanoi's old town. An easy stroll to the lake, markets, tonnes of dining experiences and museums (if you like to walk, like we do). The staff are ridiculously helpful, the breakfast buffet is ace and the rooms are spacious and practical (with windows that actually open). Cannot fault a thing about this property. I'd like to offer sincere thanks for the staff who packed us up some breakfast (without us asking) for an early taxi to the airport. Boiled eggs, croissants, butter, jam and water. It was much appreciated.

Its my third stay back at Hanoi Pearl. Good location, great staff. Unfortunately this time the room I reserved (queen bed) was not available, and I was given two separate beds instead. The bath tub also seemed to have trouble draining off the water quickly, I was standing in a puddle of my bath water during every shower. That said, I still love the charm of this hotel and will be back next time.

Really nice and comfy room, excellent staff, location, close to tons of shops and restaurants, everything within walking distance. Highly recommend.

Excellent hotel in the Old Quarter. Location brilliant for everything. Minutes walk to the Lake, shopping and restaurants. Would stay here again. Across from the hotel are two bars. Both offering Happy Hours. The cocktails were fab and cost 90K (£3). Well done... Hanoi Pearl Hotel and staff. 10/10.
