Nice boutique hotel, the Deluxe Suite had a nice separation and a door between the bedroom and the hall, specially useful if you're looking to get some work done while the rest of the party does something else. For food, you're probably better off walking 2-5 minutes to a large number of nice options.

The staff is outstanding, inviting and incredibly helpful. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with soft jazz floating through the halls. My wife and I have stayed here several times over the years and it just gets better. It is our favorite hotel in Morelia. Thank you to all of the staff at Casa San Diego. We appreciate you!

Long weekend in Morelia
The staff was attentive and extremely welcoming. Casa San Diego is walking distance from many wonderful shops and restaurants. My husband and I and several family members were in town for a wedding. The staff provided great recommendations on places to visit and dine for the days leading up to the wedding.

The place is fantastic, clean and close from everything. The food in the hotel it’s good, but in “La Calzada” there a great place for eat (less than one block from the hotel).

Nice Hotel with room for improvements
The building is nice, they keep it nice and clean but there are a few things that needs improvement such us fixing the fire place on the suite, more attention to the small details like replacing worn out bathroom towels, cleaning the upholstery of the couches in the room specially if it has a big wet spot. Oh! and let’s not forget about the patio on the second floor next to the suite which they rent it for night events, loud music and drunk people with freely access to hotel walking in the hall ways. This hotel has a lot of potential to make the guest feel comfortable, safe and wanted to come back but before that happens they really need to take care of these issues.
