Kalispell Grand Hotel

The location is great! Downtown Kalispell and is walking distance to so much- restaurants, shops, breweries, etc. That could not have been better! The building is a little old but it feels really cozy when you step inside and we loved the popcorn and homemade cookies they had waiting for us every night! We will def stay there again if we come back to the area!

Tom at front desk was especially helpful. Kalispell a quaint little town.

Extremely clean, very comfortable beds, and wonderful welcome treats at check in. The cookies are divine! Breakfast included, quiche was amazing, and great ambiance. Warm with an old fashioned antique feel.

Enjoyed the Kalispell Grand very much. First time in Montana with some friends. Great location to explore Flathead Valley. Can be a little noisy at times, but turn on the A/C and you’re good to go. Staff was excellent.

Great place, friendly staff, great breakfast. The only downside was, the elevator was not fuctioning.

Nice location. Walking distance to Star Bucks, wine tasting store, and many decent restaurants. Free parking and 45’ easy drive to the park. Much better price comparing to the hotels closer to the park. Room is somewhat small though. I like this place.

Staff was very nice. I loved the free popcorns and warm cookies available all day long. Very clean and comfy.

We used this hotel as our base while traveling to Glacier National Park. The hotel is in the middle of town. We had a pleasant stay. We were able to park our car right across the street. They had fresh cookies downstairs during the day. The hotel has an historic, older feel to it, which we enjoyed. Breakfast items were served individually wrapped and we felt quite comfortable eating there during COVID. Rooms were nice, but our only issue was the lack of space. Between the two of us and our suitcases, we didn't have much room to get around. The area felt safe. There was a mall and grocery stores near by, Whitefish was a 20 minute drive down the road, and it took us about 45 minutes to get down to Glacier.

Honestly, our stay at the Kalispell Grand was fantastic. My girlfriend and I went to our first vacation together and thanks to this hotel, we woke with a smile every day. Staff was extremly hospitable, hotel was clean, quiet, and homey. Breakfast was great (LOVED the quiche), and every afternoon they had popcorn and cookies that would make Doubletree jealous. While I still give this hotel 5/5, I will admit I found it very expensive for the size of the rooms. While the room was comfortable, it was a lot smaller than what I usually see. They got cluttered very quickly with our luggage but we didnt mind too much. Finally, the hotel is perfectly situated for shops and restaurants and still a close drive to Glacier. Would stay again, no hesitation....just wish they'd drop the price a bit.
