Sheraton Resort & Spa, Tokoriki Island, Fiji

Nice location, decent food, plenty of things to do, and awesome hotel staff. They made our visit unforgettable!

The island and resort Facilities are very nice , confortable. They need to improve the guest service , restaurant and breakfast.

Amazing location, views and white sand beach, the island is paradise. But there are problems in paradise. The staff were really friendly but overall shoddy. Their was a crypto bug or food poisoning leading to health inspectors and the resort being like a ghost town while people were sick. Food orders were constantly wrong and billing was inaccurate. Coming from the Sofitel on Denaru the comparisons between food and staff were like night and day. The prices were really steep for even basic things and with that, I was expecting a higher level of service. Big gap between price and value. I would not recommend staying here and makes me think less of Sheraton brand.

It was a beach landing which was different and difficult. Rooms were clean. Pillows could have been better. Food was super tasty! Would go again.

We recently visited the resort (last week) for a very special occasion- our Honeymoon. We had worked hard and saved to be able to enjoy this resort and milestone together. What a big mistake it was for us to choose the Sheraton Tokoriki. The resort was lovely and had a very nice room on a beautiful island. It is such a sad shame that we made the decision to leave the resort a day early, on our Honeymoon, as the resort was lacking in many many areas. The Sheraton Tokoriki is not a 5 star resort! Firstly, most of the staff were not friendly or welcoming. We love Fiji and we are used to being welcomed with a "Bula" from staff when walking around the resort or engaging in resort activities, however the Sheraton appears to not know about friendliness and how to welcome guests. The majority of the restaurants were not open during our two night visit, leaving us with very limited options for dinning, especially at a 5 start resort. Knowing that all but one of your restaurants were closed made us decide to contact the neighbouring resort as they offer many more options for dinning. Resort activities such as the pub quiz also did not occur as staff just did not show up to run and facilitate activities. From when we arrived as honeymooners, we were greeted, which was lovely. We get to our room and there is a bottle of champagne in the fridge, which we needed to ring the front desk and ask if this was for us or if it was part of the mini bar. We were not provided with

Beautiful location, rooms were spacious and quiet. We had a beachfront villa so it was soothing listening to the waves crashing st night. Staff were friendly and always keen to help. Especially caring since I had a baby bump. There were plenty of Activities each day to break up the schedule. Particularly enjoyed the aqua aerobics :)

Despite most of the staff being friendly, the incompetence and lack of training is evident from the moment you walk into the resort. We were under the impression that the resort offered transfers to surfing breaks and we spent close to an hour being bumped from person to person, each staff member just shrugging their shoulders. We then learnt that it would cost over $1000 AUD for 6 hours of surf. We spoke to someone at reception about our concerns, as this was our honeymoon and we intended to spend it surfing. The lady seemed helpful and assured us they would be happy to transfer us to the Denarau Sheraton but we would have to wait until morning when the main land staff began their shifts again. We came back in the morning and the new staff member shrugged her shoulders and simply said no, she can’t help. You’ll watch your (heavily overpriced) deep fried meal sit on the pass while the staff chat and blatantly ignore it. Watching all guests, us included, take as much away from the buffet with them is a clear indication of the overpriced menus throughout the day. I’d recommend Tokoriki Island Resort over the Sheraton any day.
