Nissos Thira Hotel

Overall, it was a good stay. We stayed for 10 days. The pool was amazing, we had a nice balcony overseeing the sunrise, the staff was so friendly and helpful, the location was ideal, right in the center of Fira, close to the taxi/bus station, and right next to a bakery/coffee shops for a nice breakfast start of the day. However, the room was just okay. The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together and were moving a lot. The mattresses were so uncomfortable, only 1 pillow per person. The air conditioning was way too cold, but if you stopped it, it would be way too hot. The air conditioning system was also way too loud, and kept waking us up in the middle of the night. The fridge was leaking and not cold enough to store items in it. The breakfast provided in the morning was basic, a bit too basic. There was no ice machine, would need to ask the front desk to get some ice, couple of cubes at a time, making it uncomfortable to ask 4 times a night, even though the front desk staff were ALWAYS helpful and friendly. Also, their website First stay in Santorini for us, we liked the hotel, but would probably look for something else whenever we come back to the island.

The property is walking distance from the market and great restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful with all of our questions on food recommendations and how to get around the island. We enjoyed our stay there and will definitely go back!

Fantastic gal on front desk so cheerful and helpful. Same breakfast every day but was better than nothing. Location is great if you don’t want to drag luggage over combustibles or walk up and down stairs with luggage. Less than block to town and bus station

Great location, super friendly and service minded staff at the reception, good internet, nice pool. Very basic breakfast included, cleaning staff really noisy (screaming to each other and slamming doors from quite early morning), only 1 low pillow per person. All in all, I would stay again.

Central location, street parking available and a great coffee shop next door!

The pool was nice, room was spacious. Shower was good. Air conditioner made a loud noise and needs to be fixed. And the bed was hard and pillows were too flat.
