Lonesome Dove Guest Ranch

I was in a tent and the shower/toilet was a short walk up a trail...but the outhouse was closer to do my relieving late at night...breakfast was great...fresh cooking....friendly staff...thanks Becky and Carroll

While I was only there for a few overnight hours I was a bit disappointed. The "Yurt" was just a tent with beds in it not on a platform as I had imagined. This could be my misconception but all 5 in the party were a bit taken aback. We checked in late and picked up a map to the tent but NO directions to the bath house, which was quite a hike in the dark. All-in-all I have to say I was disappointed and this was to be one of the highlights of the trip. Maybe if I hadn't arrived so late and left so early it would have been different.

Stayed in a cabin - very clean and cozy. Super nice lady greeted us when we arrived. Would stay there again.

This was a wonderful experience for us. I would give it a 10+. I will come back for a longer stay

Staying at the ranch was a very unique experience. There were many animals which were fun to be around and interesting to see. The included breakfast was very delicious and a great touch to our stay here. The staff was welcoming and very helpful with anything we needed. Cabins were clean with some included amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff were phenomenal! Every morning the breakfast was huge and tasty, the flavors of syrups and jellies was amazing. So glad we stayed here! With this year being such a headache it was great to be somewhere happy and full of Montana space ans fresh air!

Great experience. Stayed in a teepee on the ranch. Saw buffalo and cattle in person. Horses are available for riding. Will be back.

We stayed in Jake's Cabin. It was centrally located and had good internet reception. At check in they stated it was closest to the routers. Cabin was comfortable. No TV in cabin. Facility was pretty good. We did not do any horse back riding and just stayed overnight. Morning breakfast was very good as it was made after ordered rather than buffet style. Drive in and out of the facility was quite dusty. It was a different, but good experience for us. We would stay again.

Beautiful ranch; beautiful animals, and more importantly beautiful hardworking people! People that are as fresh and pleasant as the mornings are at the Lonesome Dove Ranch. The serene mornings with the animals around, the fresh smell of the grass and trees, the scent of their delicious coffee, the bacon, the eggs and the joy you sense from just being there are all priceless and hard to be found in other ranches and definitely not in a hotel or a regular B&B. Speak to Hal if you can. You’ll be treated to a bundle of humor, intelligence and true human kindness. Sharron can run a country with her energy not only a ranch. Becky’s joyful laugh and positive energy are contagious and would leave you smiling. Wish we had more than 5 days. Sure we’ll be back :)
