front desk check-in service and house keeping were quite excellent. Concierge desk needs improvement. 1) they got confused and called my room three times. the first two times they hung up immediately when i said “hello”, the third time i switched to speaking Chinese “wei” and the person finally stopped hanging up and proceeded to communicate 2) lots of mistakes. i had returned HDMI cables at the desk but they called to ask if i wanted to borrow cables which is a request from the day before 3) i stayed an additional night so was asked to come down to renew my access card, which i did do so. however, that was pointless because by night time next day my room card stopped working anyways and i had to come down again carrying all my takeout dinner to regain entry. For a 5 star hotel, it’s all about service, so hoping that can be improved for the future.

吃了buffet早餐後發生嚴重的急性腸胃炎,就醫服藥後仍然持續了數日。酒店方面來電說沒有調查出什麼問題,願意支付願意醫藥費(但醫藥費其實都是健保啊,酒店還真的一本正經的就賠償了掛號費而已…) 事後查了一些評論,才知道林酒店的食安問題早已惡名昭彰。…

The first room has uncomfortable smell of smoke that could be done by previous guest, but the hotel front desk helped to change the other room immediately and assign dedicate personnel to help out all the logistics. Great service, and will stay again if my next trip to Taichung.

以這樣的房價,CP值不高,房間設施有點老舊,雖然客房空間大,但清潔程度有點令人失望! 早餐選擇多樣化,這點令人滿意!!

This is not a 5 star hotel at all. No spaces to relax in the hotel. The safety deposit box was broken in our room (we discovered this after our valuables were locked in it). The AC has 1 setting 'Freezing' and covers your items in a thin layer of dust by the morning. This also means the rooms are dirty (especially the sofa). The hotel decor is a little cheap and the hotel buffet was like a riot with below average food. On a positive note, the pool area is nice and our deluxe room was large. The staff are generally friendly but not that helpful. Location is good. I would not stay in this hotel again.

The condition of the room was not so great. One of my bathroom sliding doors was broken, I reported and they promised to sent someone to fix but never did. It was very inconvenient to go in and out of the bathroom. Also, when we requested to have more towels they told us that they only offer a limited towel per room. We used the pool but they didn't have towels either and told us to bring towels from our room. How can you use the same towels from your room wiping from pool water? Just doesn't make sense. The explanation of the service people were not logic enough.
