Marcela was exceptional accommodating and helpful. She was able to help with recommendations on tour guides to Tabacon Hot Springs and give tasteful mix drink recipes 😉 Marcela was great! I will definitely come back to Buddha House to stay.

Excellent location. Good price if you book in advance. The lady at the breakfast service is superb , smiling all the time. Good breakfast. Beautiful small hotel with free parking. Best location , on the Main Street. Close to shopping , beach , restaurants , night life. Good Air condition.

Considering the location on a busy street it was surprisingly quiet. Another towel would have been nice! Breakfast was good with several choices. Because it is a hostel there is a kitchen available for all guests. If you like crowds and over priced souvenir shops this is the place to go. The pool is only an over sized bathtub! A chair in the room would have appreciated.

Very friendly staff and good location for exploring Jaco. However, room amenities are very basic, beds not great, etc. Solar shower is only hot in the afternoon. Worst feature was booming disco music from somewhere nearby from about 8 pm to much later. If you are a light sleeper don't stay here as even ear plugs didnt help much.
