Beautiful Baja Mexico Romantic Beach Getaway

David and David are amazing hosts. The apartment is always very clean and has everything you need to have a wonderful stay. The view is awesome and you are steps away from the ocean. This is our 4th or 5th stay, and our cozy get away.

We had such a relaxing getaway here! The casita is squeaky clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. The view is lovely; we enjoyed watching the dolphins swimming in the ocean, and the sunsets were gorgeous. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach is the ideal background noise for falling asleep. We didn't cook anything because there are wonderful restaurants nearby, but the kitchen has everything necessary to prepare a nice meal. David and David are excellent hosts, and we will definitely return. We feel like we found a treasure in Casa Martini!

We couldn't have been more pampered. David thinks of everything and the accommodations are the best. Close to some good restaurants and the beach.

My husband and I stayed over the holiday weekend and had the most amazing time! David and David have thought of literally everything to make the stay comfortable, convenient and enjoyable. The casita itself is SO CUTE! It is clean, bright and decorated adorably (v instagrammable). The location is perfect for getting to the Valle for wine tasting and returning for sunset cocktails. David is incredibly helpful and communicative. At one point my husband needed to have a nap (too much tequila haha) and David literally made him a sandwich to make sure he had something to eat<3. Thank you David and David for an amazing weekend!!! We will be returning, as well as recommending any of our friends heading towards Rosarito/Ensenada to stay here. xo

I enthusiastically recommend Casa Martini! The casita has an amazing view and is just a quick walk from a beautiful sandy beach. The colors, decor, and gardens are even more vibrant in real life - the photos don't do it justice. David is an incredible host who has thought of every detail to make his guests feel at home and comfortable. The area and property feel completely secure and safe. David & David are very kind-hearted people, and it's truly a pleasure spending time with them and their friendly community. Casa Martini is an amazing getaway! In addition to relaxing and enjoying the beach, there was so much to do in the area as well. We ate lunch in Puerto Nuevo at Angel del Mar, breakfast at La Fonda Dymtri (which is delicious and close by), rode horses on the beach with Horses by Jose, did a full day trip to Valle de Guadalupe (which was only 35 minutes away), and visited the town of La Mision with David. We can't wait to go back! If you're planning a visit to Baja, this is the place to go!

My husband and I and our dog stayed three nights last week at David Worthy's amazing property. Our last visit was during Christmas 2016. I rarely get around to doing reviews, but I did after finding Casa Martini that first time. We were so impressed with the beautiful casita, the grounds, the view, and especially with our host, David, that I really wanted to write one. I say host instead of property owner, because that is exactly what he is. We could only imagine what his friends experienced staying there if he gave complete strangers such royal treatment. So this second visit, instead of just referring you to my first five-star review that detailed everything, I just wanted to write to say that all of the great reviews are true, and not only that, if anything, David seems to be upgrading his "brand" even more. We were no longer strangers and he couldn't do enough for us. He took our dog out while we went wine tasting and since our car was completely dusty after the trip to the Guadalupe Valley, insisted on having our car washed before we left Actually he doesn't know any strangers, so if it's your first visit, you'll get the same Platinum experience. His garden is growing more beautiful and he's added even more art and accessories to invoke the beautiful Mexican style. We couldn't love going here more and can't wait to get back. I'd say I wished Casa Martini was closer to us in LA County, but if if were, we probably couldn't afford it, and probably couldn't get a reservation for that matter. Plus you'd have a crowded beach instead of the peaceful playa at La Mision. That's it. I know we've all read reviews on Yelp, etc.where people lament that the place "ain't what it used to be"; this is NOT one of those places. Thank you David!

We arrived at Casa Martini and met David Worthy. He is an amazing character. His house and the casitas are a reflection of his imagination and warm heart. The exterior of the building is beautifully painted. The courtyard is full of beautiful plants and colorful tile. David has incorporated metal art, surf boards, and wooden sculptures into his garden...then, of course, the exterior experience includes the smell, the sound, and the view of the ocean. Its a super short walk the beach. The inside of the casitas is full of color, texture and warm heavy wood. It is a beautiful comfortable place to stay. The patio is a perfect place to have a glass of your favorite beverage and relax with someone you love. This vrbo is a must for any couple looking for a relaxing romantic getaway.

I stayed here last summer by myself and returned earlier this month with my wife. I was sure she would love it and I was not disappointed. We enjoyed the beautiful ocean view, the unique artwork and decor as well as the incredible garden. You are also close to the wine country and all the great restaurants in Ensenada. But what really makes this a special experience is David’s hospitality and attention to detail. We could not imagine a more perfect host. He is a walking encyclopedia of local attractions and restaurants. The only time we ignored one of his recommendations, we regretted it. What is amazing is that David manages all this without being the slightest bit intrusive. Being dog people, we especially loved his wonderful Mexican rescue dogs. We’re excited about his expansion and hope to return soon.

Wow!!!! My friend and I give the Casita and the hospitality given to us by David and David a resounding thumbs up. The Casita was immaculate with a beautiful view of the Pacific. When we arrived we were greeted by David personally. We had our two doggies with us and never once felt anxious or nervous for their well being while we were out surfing or golfing. Quite the opposite. I think the dogs wanted us to leave more often they were treated so well. Nice area for them to roam as well as David taking them on walks. Our stay had everything we were looking to experience for a couple day getaway. Stress free, not one glitch and a beautiful beach. Close to restaurants and a venture to the wineries if you so choose. Staying at the Casa Martini was simply fantastic. A clean, safe, fun, and dog-friendly environment, David & David provided us with a spectacular family vacation. I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone seeking to unplug and relax.
