Such a beautiful setting in the rainforest
This place was awesome! We loved having the jungle surrounding our bungalow and it was attractive to wildlife too. At check-in, we were greeted with a refreshing fruit drink and a cool, moist face towel. We wish we could have stayed longer, but the corona virus prompted us to get home while we could. The nature walk was super good too.

This is a true little gem in the middle of the rainforest! We stayed in the rainforest bungalows and The Accommodations were precious, cozy, and so private and serene, tucked away amidst the jungle. This is a great place if you want to have quite and experience the true jungle feel. The staf were great!!! So helpful and so nice Mario and Christopher at the front desk always willing to answer questions. Diego was fabulous!!! He was our nature guide, who Educated us about the rainforest, the animals, and the grounds. We took many tours with him. The hotel also has a good amount of activities to do there, or they booked for us our trips. We certainly recommend this little gem in the middle of the jungle and would love to go back!!!

The people at Chachagua Rainforest Eco Lodge were the best part of the trip. Friendly and helpful, they were always available when you needed them. The guides they used were also great. They went out of their way to make our trip enjoyable and hassle-free. While eating lunch at their restaurant, we had two great wildlife sightings. On one day, there was a beautiful toucan in the tree right next to our table. On another day, there was a sloth with her baby in a tree near the restaurant. Amazing.

Chachagua Shangri-la
We had a very good stay, just one night but still good. Juan Diego was an awesome host and did a great nature tour. We live in Sarchi and still learned lots about Costa Rica from him. Our room was spacious and the jacuzzi was nice. Breakfast was good also. The happy hour was good but we wished they had a wine and maybe a cerveza on the happy hour menu. We like to drink. Lol. Overall a great experience on a beautiful property with great hosts, next time we will stay longer.
