Great location, near the bus line and 10 min walk from the sillim station. The room looked like a hostel that converted into a private room. It's roomy. The bathroom is really loud and you can smell sewage, so keep the door closed.

Very inexpensive, extremely good positioning next to Sillim subway Station, close to stores and a market. The hostel is in the heart of a little commercial area in Sillim-dong, surrounded by restaurants and shops. Despite this, there was no noise, since the hostel itself is rather secluded in-between two larger buildings. The host, Thomas is the nicest person you'll be hosted by. Very helpful, kind and always present at the desk from morning to evening. There is a phone and a computer in the lobby. The hostel's kitchen is clean and has all the necessary cookware, including a water dispenser, same for the BBQ rooftop terrace. The rooms are clean, ours had an air conditioner but I'm not sure if all of them do. Insects are everywhere in Seoul, so we've seen one or two tiny crawlers, although there was absolutely no bedbugs or roaches or anything crazy. There's also a laundry station and they have many tiny towels that you can exchange for clean ones once they get dirty. I can't recommend this little hostel enough. Will definitely be trying to book it again for our next trip to Seoul. Thank you again Thomas for the delicious dinner!

Good location very close to a metro. Not in a very touristy area so there were some very good and reasonably priced restaurants and cafes nearby. The area near the hotel was very safe and lively like the rest of Seoul. Around 20 minutes on the metro to main areas like Hongdae and slightly further to City Hall etc but the metro is very easy to use so this isn’t a problem. Thomas was very friendly and helpful and gave recommendations on where to go and allowed us to leave our luggage before check in as we arrived very early in the morning.

Avoid this hostel
Even though the receptionist was very helpful, the hostel room we booked was in a very bad condition. The sheets were dirty and unchanged. When we called the receptionist to change the sheets, he told us that sometimes, they forgot to change the sheets! When we lifted the mattress to change the sheets, what we saw under the bed was insane. It was really dirty, there were left over socks, sleeping mask, a converter and a pile of water! Nobody even looked under the bed. The room smelled of mold, there was another mattress in front of the window, which looked terrible. We left immediately the next morning.

잠만 잔다면 괜찮아요
서울에 있는 아들보러 들렀는데.. 잠자기 위해 선택한 곳이였다. 가격대비 만족한다. 친절했고 잠만자기에 불편하진 않았다. 화장실이 넓고 따뜻한물 잘 나와서 좋았고.. 이불이나 베개를 좀더 깨끗하게 관리했으면 하는 아쉬움은 있었다. 싼가격에 잘 자고 왔다는 생각이다
