The people who run this establishment are really terrific! They will help you with whatever you need. They have a beautiful little oasis in the city with lots of birds around. We are happy we chose them to stay with. We were late coming in from the airport but the owner happily picked us up anyway!

Very nice staff. Although a smell from chemical sprayed in room lasted all night long. I ended up with a sore throat and headache from it. Noisy planes landing and taking off could be heard. Breakfast was ok.

Hotel Your House was a 10/10. We arrived in San Jose late in the evening and they waited for us. It was clean, comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the service was friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend to anyone in San Jose!

We needed a hotel close to the SJO airport. Our arrival into San Jose was late at night and our departure was early in the morning. They have a free shuttle that picked us up. This place was perfect for that very reason. It was small and intimate, sparse, but the WiFi was great and the shower was hot. We had cable tv and a fan. They serve a yummy traditional buffet breakfast. On our way out, our flight was SO early. They bagged some fresh fruit, toast and jelly, a ham and cheese sandwich, and some boxed juices for the kids. We took it to the airport and ate it there. It was pretty thoughtful. It’s also 1/3 of a mile from Adobe car rental, which was quite convenient for us.

Good property and great sleep. No mosquitos which is rare for CR. Large bathroom. Solid internet. Surprisingly some walkable and good food options in the area. It’s a low budget hotel so yes some not so perfect things or amenities, but for me it did the trick as a one night option. They really need to install another lamp or stronger bulb as roomy room is dark. One note if you don’t have GPS it can be very difficult to find the street it’s located on. Street is not marked so map your way or have a co-pilot guide you.

We stayed there the first night and last night of our trip, to be close to the airport. It was great and we would stay there again. I definitely recommend this place. It is only 5-10 min driving from the airport, and walking distance (5-10min) to Adobe car rental. The shuttle from the airport was great, the people very nice, and the breakfast was good. However if you want the comfort of an American hotel then you should stay in an American hotel, not in a small hotel like that. This place is very authentic and that is what we were looking for. The garden is really cute.
