The property is lovely located on quiet street, a short walk from the river and just off the highway. The house is a renovation of an old cottage which dates back to when you had to take a ferry to cross the river. It is surrounded by a lovely garden and there is a nice porch which we enjoyed sitting out in the warm evenings. Our room was quite comfortable and we had a very large bathroom down the hall which was for our use only. Good bathrobes were provided. The home is full of antiques including a brass tank and plumbing for the toilet. Breakfast is fit for royalty. There was a selection of cereals, juice,fresh fruit (some from their garden), plain yogurt, croissants, homemade jams and a cooked breakfast all served on china with crystal and silverware. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and I enjoyed Brian's refreshing sense of humour.

Mary and Brian are incredibly warm and generous hosts with a beautiful home. We really enjoyed our stay. As suggested by other reviewers the breakfast provided is excellent. Highly recommended!

A delightful bed & breakfast. A beautiful older house with a wonderful fragrant cottage garden. Marie and Bryan were excellent hosts, welcoming and informative. Excellent breakfast.

Lovely friendly B&B in Wanaka
We had a lovely room in this characterful house in Albert Town, Wanaka. The hosts are charming, and the breakfasts, especially the apricots and scrambled eggs are to die for,. Well worth a visit!

Beautiful place, highly exeded our expectations. Marie and company are just amazing; they do everything to make your feel like at home. Outstandingly breakfast served in a beautiful room made of home made and local products.

Lovely couple hosting. Breakfast was exceptional and different each morning. Bed comfy. Heated blanket exceptional - do not set it higher than lowest setting or you will end a crispy human fajita!
