Shinhua Hotel

The rooms are relatively new & modern but the main problem I had, which other reviewers on other sites have noted, is that there is a very bad sewer smell in some of the rooms, especially the larger rooms with a mini-kitchen. I mentioned this to the manager but got no response, this is one reason I did not extend my booking. The location also is not so great unless you have a motor bike or a car.

Building is nice, staff is good too. Location is a bit difficult unless you have a motorbike or car since nothing is really withing walking distance. I stayed a total of 5 days but left because there's a bad sewer smell in the rooms. I was going to return for longer up to a month in the larger apartment upstairs but not unless I could book the room for a day first to make sure it also doesn't have the same problem. They refused so I did not return - too bad.

Room was clean and modern. Bed was comfy. Air conditioning was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. A great experience.

This hotel is impeccably clean, nice comfortable beds, Air conditioner works great,nice balconies, nice strong wifi signal with Netflix on the tv. The staff was very nice and attentive to any questions or needs that may have arose. I also like that this location is not in the loud central districts. Overall i would definitely repeat staying here anytime in Saigon. Thank you Shinhua hotel.

Place was clean and quiet. Staff was really nice and accommodating. Bed was a bit hard for my liking and room is not cleaned on a daily basis during the stay. Also front entrance is closed early so must go through the garage during late nights. There isn’t much in the area for people vacationing.

This hotel is located at a quiet location, noise free for a good night sleep. Had good wifi, nice bed, hot showers. The hotel staff, especially Ms Linh was very helpful as she speaks excellent English. She helped me booked a local tour to Cu Chi tunnel and even book a Grab bike for me to the travel agency located in District 1. The hotel is also walking distance to a big supermart, Lotte mart which is about 7 minutes walk, with surrounding nice food and coffee shops. The only qualms is that it is 15 mins from district 1 and you definitely need to hail a taxi or grab bike to get to district 1. Overall, thumbs up for an excellent stay.

This place is immaculate! It is unbelievably clean. Everything is in new condition, functioning and did I mention C L E A N. I stayed here for one night to escape District One before leaving Vietnam. It was a great decision. The neighborhood is quiet and the locals were very friendly. The staff at the hotel were attentive and check-in was a breeze. Bed is comfy. LOTS of natural light. WiFi is reliable. Quiet area. There's a restaurant next door which was good. Went for dinner in District 1 and it's about 10 minutes by motorbike which cost $1. The only con was that the shower was not very hot, however the pressure was amazing. Overall it was a great stay and exactly what I needed.

Shinhua Hotel is located in a quiet part of district 7, a bit away from the center. The hotel is new, the rooms spacious and well equipped. Everything was clean and confortable. The hotel staff was super nice and helpful. I felt well looked after and was very happy with my choice.
