The staff at the reception are very nice and friendly. This hostel is not luxurious but in fact very budget friendly and close to the old town. It’s also close to the HBF train station. Highly recommend in Munich.

I stayed here during my visit to the Oktoberfest in Munich last year and it was great! The location of the hostel is very convenient since it is walking distance from many of the main attractions in Munich, including the Theresienwiese (area where the Oktoberfest takes place). The staff were helpful during my stay and they held numerous, fun activities to socialize as part of the festivities revolving the Oktoberfest festival. I would highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Munich and especially during Oktoberfest!

It was pretty cheap given the location. Right next to the train station and close to the bus station too. You do have to pay for towels and the bed sheets weren’t very clean, they had some stains. Other than that the location was perfect for our 2 night stay.

everything is very clean, straight foward and organized here, true to german spirit. the breakfast definetely worth the extra cost! note that the 8 bed dorms have only 1 bath, so you might need to time your showers very early or just wait for your turn... but i think for this price, this can be totally expected. the location is ubbeatable.
