The apartment was lovely - within easy walking distance to the river walk, very spacious and clean. Our bed was comfortable, the ensuite bathroom clean and tidy, and the living area welcoming. We happened to be the only people staying there, so had the place to ourselves.
The kitchen had breakfast makings - cereals, jams, fresh fruit, milk, tea etc so we were able to enjoy refreshments whenever we wanted.
The wifi worked well, but we were told the television is not working at this moment. (Nothing we would have used, so no big deal for us.)
Homman, who met us and looked after our needs, was welcoming and very accommodating.
The only difficulty we experienced was in finding the apartment. Unfortunately, the owner (DJ) did not send us correct information for finding the apartment, and the location that comes up on Google maps when entering the address is incorrect. We did not have a cell phone, so were unable to access WhatsApp. We had mentioned in our booking emails with DJ that we did not have either cell or WhatsApp, and asked him to email us directions. We did not hear from him.
We were able to communicate with Homman by asking people to contact him via WhatsApp. However, we were all left in some difficulty due to lack of communication.
We suggest that DJ create either a map or a written set of directions from a given point so that future guests are not lost; a situation that creates frustration for the guests and for Homman who is waiting for them to arrive.
