Parking was easy (which counts for lot when travelling for work), hotel was architecturally interesting and full of history, and the rooms were quaint and clean. Above all the staff were brilliant. Will definitely stay again when passing through. "

"This room would be legally non-compliant in the UK; however, France may have different safety regulations. The third bed is on a loft (approximately 6 ft × 4 ft) built above the bathroom and can only be accessed via a ladder, which has to be retracted to allow movement on the main level. There are two beds in the main room, which are just about suitable for an average-sized person. However, space is very limited, and it’s difficult for two people to move around at the same time. One person often has to step aside to allow the other to pass."
