Brno is a well kept secret much like a mini Wien, a great blend of modern & historical architecture working well together. It is a large old city area with a lot of historical & cultural diversity. We were pleased to find traditional cuisine & beer

I was really pleased to find the self-guided walk for the Gregor Mendel Trail. We didn't make it to the Cemetery stop and couldn't find the second one (at the Fruit and Vegetable Market), but (eventually) locates all the rest and it was fun!

A fabulous city for a long weekend break. A great transport system too.
"Very pleasant atmosphere, large rooms, very clean.
Conveniently located in the heart of the city with old architecture and historic sites.
Receptionists very hospitable.
Rich breakfast with many choices."
"What a unique experience in Brno! The bunker room was clean, comfortable and rather spacious. We found the temperature pleasantly cool, especially enjoyable during summer. Although the toilet and shower were shared with other rooms, they were clean too. Wifi worked fine. Both the entrance fee for visiting the museum and a breakfast were included. Mind you that you need to be at the breakfast area early in order to enjoy the full spread. What makes this place so much more than the sum of all those mentioned? The friendly and helpful staff! Don't miss this if you're in Brno. I won't hesitate to stay there again if I revisit Brno."
"Rooms were large. We were on the 10th floor in an executive suite. Tons of room. Bed was super comfortable. We had an issue the 1st night with a faulty A/C but moved to the room next store for the rest of our stay.
Breakfast had tons of options and was nice a beautiful restaurant.
There are numerous restaurants and pubs within walking distance and the main train station was a 12 minute walk away.
The only issue is the parking. The hotel has limited spots in its own lot. You have to enter and exit with a ticket. Two of the three times we tried to exit, the ticket validation from the hotel did not work and we had to call the hotel for help. A minor issue but it would seem easy to fix by the hotel.
This was our first trip to Brno so i cannot compare this hotel to others in the city. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was a lovely week at this property."
