"Really pleased with the accommodation we were offered. The room was clean, large and with comfy beds and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The surrounding area is incredibly quiet, so good sleep is guaranteed. We didn't have breakfast but, judging from the delicious smell and the nice breakfast room where it is served, it must be a good deal. A big thank-you to the receptionist, who really went the extra mile to guide us up to the parking. "

"Very friendly and helpful staff but the room was a little rough around the edges. Breakfast was good but let down by the restaurant not being open in the evenings over the weekend - Friday to Sunday. This was not mentioned in the booking details. "

"Sympa mais l’accueil un peu particulier un peu froid. J’ai demandé pour dîner le soir, on m’a gentiment proposé un restaurant à 9 km. Je suis allé dîner en ville et quand je suis rentré. En rentrant, j’ai pu constater que cette hotte faisait à manger et avait des clients. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi, il n’a pas souhaité que je dîne à son restaurant. Dommage "

"Vous serez très bien accueillis dans cet ancien relais de poste de 1791, transformé en maison d hôtes. La batisse est magnifique comme l extérieure avec une très belle piscine. Le petit-déjeuner est très bon avec des produits fait maison. La chambre pour 4 est spacieuse et confortable. "

"Hotel Splendid is an excellent hotel in an excellent Dax location. Many restaurants and shops within 2-5 minute walk, the hotel was classic art deco design. Very comfortable, modern bathroom, nice towels. Will return"
