No front staff
Room was good except for a ton of mosquitos. Need to make it clear that there is no reception and that you need to contact in advance. Got to location and had to call using data as no wifi is listed in the lobby.

Decent lovation for exploring Kaohsiung though it is far from MRT or TRA stations, the walk along the love river near by was nice.
The room was small and dusty, but was overly ok. The hotel generally was quite dusty which was disappointing.
I was a little confused that there was mugs but no kettle, and I think this is the first hotel I have stayed in in Taiwan which didnt provide complementary bottles of water, which given it was not the cheapest was a surprise. I have however heard that you can drink the tap water in Kaohsiung unlike the rest of the county, it just doesnt taste very nice.
I wasnt a huge fan of the lack of front office or staff and when we turned up and couldn't get in I was hugely worried. I guess thats a cost saving measure and it was my fault for not checking on that earlier. Having said that once I rang the staff on the other end were very helpful and efficient.
