Nice stay
Had a lovely stay, despite the stormy weather. Service was great.Breakfast was delicious with extra shots of espresso. Only downside was squeaky floors in the hallway. It sounded like some one was walking in the room .

A very quiet room and a comfortable bed. A really nice room. Some more milk portions and real coffee (not decaf) would be good.

Disappointed
The staff were friendly and attentive. Check in was easy and the room was warm and well looked after. The shower however was horrendous it only had one temperature and that was scalding. My wife had to attempt washing her hair in the small hand basin and neither us managed a shower before leaving. We would ordinarily raise this directly but due to our early start there was no way to

Needs sharpening up
Warm welcome from lady behind bar. Room ok but showing signs of needing TLC as was the whole place really. Disappointing standard of cleaning of the shower. In the morning we were on time for breakfast but the pub was not opened up until 5 minutes later. Then 3 tables had to be ordered from and cooked by one person, so service was very slow. It took an hour to get and have breakfast.

Very Disappointed - Cannot Recommend
Despite the advertising, the pub did not do meals (the kitchen has been closed for some time), but they did offer breakfast at £10/person. Sadly, this was a poor offering with no cereals/fruits etc. and no menu to choose from. The one member of staff tried their best but clearly was very stretched so we did not book breakfast for our second morning. We asked the owner about opening hours on Saturday evening, as we would be returning from a wedding and wished to relax over a drink. He confirmed that the bar would be open. However, when we returned a little before 9:30pm the pub was closed and in complete darkness, and clearly been closed for some while. We then returned to or bedroom to find it had not been serviced and dirty cups from the morning still there. It was not possible to contact anybody in order to rectify this. Very disappointed and we won't stay here again.

We had just one night stop here. The kitchen in the pub was closed, so we didn't eat dinner there, and left without breakfast. Nice room, with amazing view.

Quiet location, spacious room, good shower pressure. No towels in the room on arrival, needed to go to the pub next door and request some. Broken toilet seat (hotel theme in this locality we have experienced). Overall did the job but price is too high for the experience.

The rooms are beautiful , very clean and quiet. It is unfortunate that breakfast is not served on Sundays before 8.30 am as we had to leave at 8.00am. There was a paper in the room telling us how to use the hair dryer but no actual dryer.
