This place has an amazing view of lake Myvatn and is very close to all the hikes and things to do in the area. The cabin had everything we needed.

Volcano views

Great location. Awesome view of volcano from the guesthouse. Nice people working here. We booked a larger 2 bedroom unit - they said the heater was broken so they moved us to a smaller unit. Sounds awesome - of note, there was no center heat to break.. it was space heaters (so I’m guessing they gave our unit to someone else). Worked out well for us - they were very kind about it and also gave us free breakfast for this. Also wasn’t soap or shampoo in the shower - so we didn’t shower here. Property is awesome. People were kind. I’d stay here again.

We liked this place a lot. The house was very clean and close to the nature spa. We had a private hot tub which we loved. The staff is very friendly and kind and they make an amazing breakfast. We enjoyed our stay here very much. They also have two hotel dogs which my kids loved. The dogs were so friendly and sweet. We walked around the complex which is located right on the lake and it was beautiful.

Nice cute little cottages. Super close to all the activities around myvatn lake. Breakfast was amazing (great view!) and the main house was really cute. Cottages would be great for families and bigger groups as there are plenty of beds. Nice kitchenette as well.

Tight room with good rolla shutters to keep the light and noise out. Good location for the sites around lake Myvtan. Shared kitchen and lounge area was clean and well organised. Gets a little crowded with three different rooms trying to cook at once. But overall good place to stay.

The pictures are very misleading. You’re not in a tiny cabin, you’re in 1/4 of a tiny cabin. There’s also a picture of a hot tub, but only 1 cabin has one and access to it. I wouldn’t have booked it if the website wasn’t misleading in those ways. It was clean, but not what was advertised
