Kanan was both unique and beautiful. The staff will pamper you from the time you arrive until you leave. The staff was exceptional. Primo, Kela, and Miguel are superstars. The cleaning staff is the best I’ve seen. The food was delicious, the beach was very nice, and the rooftop bird nests have the best view.

I have wanted to stay at the Kanan for over two years now and was finally able to do so but the fact that a bottle of water is not complimentary is ridiculous. We were thirsty and ordered 3 cans of soda which costed us about $20 US dollars. You literally get NOTHING for free. While it may not be all inclusive you can atleast provide your guests with a bottle of water. It is also known to have a jungle esthetic but the amount of sand that’s in your room is insane. Please read all the reviews before booking this hotel everything is extremely overpriced.

Felt in paradise. Loved the cleanliness and the attention of the staff. Primo was very attentive to all of our needs and concerns. Every day staff and Primo would greet us and ask if everything was ok with the room. Primo went above and beyond. Will certainly visit again.
