The property appears a little dated but that may be its attraction for some. My room was on the top (second) floor but there is no lift and that’s awkward with luggage. Breakfast finished too early for me to take advantage of it. The en suite shower room was a very good, spacious room. The bed was adequate but not luxurious. I thought I’d booked a hotel in Switzerland but it turned out to be in Germany! Check out the border positions before you book.😁

Awful experience. Would not recommend. No-one was at the property to let us in. No clear instructions when booking as to what to do if no-one there to check you in. Sign on door was in German so could not understand? Area didn't appear to be particularly safe either. Ended up staying at another property, a short drive away in Basel. Best decision for us.

Comfortable, clean and conveniently located.
We were greeted warmly and were quickly in our room. Everything was perfect. The room was quiet and very clean. The space was organized perfectly for two peoplle. Good storage. Comfortable beds. Windows could be open securely, and the fan provided kept us comfortable. We didn’t try the breakfast at the hotel, but it was affordable. Try the Oscar Baklava restaurant (cash only) nearby for fantastic Turkish food — we ate a very good and unique breakfast there. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Victoria — conveniently located a block from the Hauptstrasse and the tram.

Etwas hellhörig, aber sehr schön und sauber!
Die Empfangsdame war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer ist schick, und das Bett super gemütlich. Alles sauber, der Duschkopf könnte vielleicht grundgereinigt werden, aber es sind Kalkablagerungen im normalen Bereich. Ich kann nur die Soundkulisse etwas bemängeln, da man die Türen oder klappern immer hört, aber für mich war es aushaltbar. Kopfhörer auf und das Problem ist gelöst. Die Lage ist ebenfalls super, da man zu Fuß innerhalb 15 Minuten max zur Dreiländerbrücke und Straßenbahnen kommt. Supermärkte, Restaurants usw sind genauso zu erreichen.

Habitación con lo necesario para pasar una noche, o varias, y conocer Basilea. No es céntrico, pero el tranvía al centro se puede coger cerca. Sitios para desayunar y/o comer por el barrio también, zona tranquila.
