A cut above the normal B&B as the house used was once the manager's of a large estate, and is a sizeable one with a large lounge available for guests.
The breakfast was served in a conservatory which overlooked the garden. The grounds are large and the property overlooks the valley below, with hardly any other properties in view.

Stay was good, view from our room was very good. Location was good. We took 20 minutes to find someone who could check us in! Wandering around trying to find someone/anyone who could help us! Breakfast was included however it was not made clear that it was only a continental breakfast not a full English, which is what we had expected. We were also disappointed in lack of information on the surrounding area, no wifi password or information about breakfast times.

Syon House -
We really enjoyed our two night, two bedroom stay at Syon House, despite the mixed weather! The grounds are extensive and rooms spacious and airy and the service lovely.Continental breakfast in the orangery was simple but of high quality and was 'staggered ' to ensure social distancing, though there are not a large number of bedrooms in this lovely old (Georgian?) hotel. The communal lounge was very comfortable. The only comment we would make is that as milk for tea/coffee in our rooms was fresh there was no signing to say where to get it and the door code panel is difficult to see in the dark, despite some lighting..
