Only stayed the night for me and my son, Martin was very helpful and very chatty, a really nice chap , very pleasant room perfect for the price and needs we had , great location and will definetly return there for London visits as it's about a mile from station too

Basic room, nice enough staff, uncomfortable bed and pillow. Very noisy , banging doors, talking in corridor. Noisy guests again from before 4am. Decided to get up and leave very early as waste of time trying to sleep.

Damp smell in the room!

Check in guy follows you into room after you have checked into tell you when to leave in the morning. Once you check into your room you shouldn’t be disturbing your guests! Smell of damp in the room. Minimum space to use the toilet and shower. No way of avoiding the tap water overflowing as it’s small with no room to avoid it. Uncomfortable bed. Disgusting worn out bed sheets. Damp smell in the duvet and pillows. No towels provided in the room had to ask for them. When towels were given one of them had a stain on them and they smelt of damp also. This hotel should never be allowed to charge these booking fees as it’s nowhere near the level of similar places that charge the same amount to stay the night.

It was the hottest on record in London during my stay, and the host brought a fan to my room which really helped to cool the room. I didn't like that the bathroom had a funny smell.

You get what you pay for

The bathroom needs a full overhaul in terms of cleanliness, it is the first place a guest looks and whilst it serviceable, there was a distinctly large amount of mildew visible... My stay was serviceable; I liked the tea/coffee making facility and TV and it did what I needed it to do, which was somewhere to lay my head down for a single night but I wouldn't stay longer than one night and I wouldn't take my wife there...
