The place is new and feels very clean and fresh. Wonderful, friendly staff, but I only saw them when I checked in.
Great mattress! Rooms are a bit more spartan than they look in the photos but fine.
When I returned to the hotel, faint from the intense heat, I panicked when the I couldn’t open the door to the b&b. It was boiling hot, and heat exhaustion was threatening.
The staff answered texts quickly and a very long, hot, 10 minutes later, a couple showed up while I waited. They walked past me so I asked if they were going to the b&b. They didn’t speak English but were willing to help. They went to the building next door so I was hopeful it was an alternate entrance but they couldn’t open the door.
I told them about the b&b next door and they didn’t understand me but were on the phone with someone and confirmed my name.
They went to the b&b where I was staying and were able to open the door. Tip: turn the key left, when seems like it won’t open any further, keep turning left and simultaneously open the door with the other hand.
Keys can be tricky the first time so I’d suggest the b&b walk each guest through the entry process to be sure they can get in on their own.
The b&b is next to a highway, a bit daunting crossing the street. Tip: walking on the b&b side of the street to the harbor, there’s a stop light and it’s a nicer walk overall. Google maps has you cross the street next to the b&b, and it’s a rougher walk overall.
Great B&B!
