There for a romantic stay and the hotel was beautiful, especially with all their stunning Christmas decorations. Service was absolutely first class: friendly, helpful, warm, welcoming and just made us feel special and pampered. Yes it’s a hotel of the highest standards but you don’t feel in any way uncomfortable - just like a beautiful big house with lots of people looking after you for two days. Hotel, surrounding grounds, and St Andrews itself was fantastic. Well worth a visit even as none golfers..
