Great location and staff
We had a great stay for my birthday. The staff were very welcoming and upgraded our room for our celebrations and gave us some cupcakes and drinks vouchers to celebrate which was very kind. The executive room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. A fabulous selection at breakfast too with very attentive staff. Great location, close to the metro stop to get you into town and parking onsite for a charge. Overall a great birthday stay!

Leonardo Royal Hotel Birmingham
We had a great nights stay at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Birmingham, we were worried that we’d here all the street noise with it being on Broad Street. But we were on 14th floor & never heard a thing. Staff were amazing. Only issue we did have was when we stripped the bedding which my wife does wherever we stop & found there was blood on a pillowcase & a stain on the duvet. Wife reported it & staff member said it would be dealt with swiftly.

There is nothing negative I could say about this hotel. The location was excellent, with the tram stop being right outside the door and being only one stop on the tram away from the city centre and two away from the Bullring shopping centre. Also only a 5 minute walk from the Legoland Discovery Centre and Sea Life so ideal if you are travelling with children. The staff at the hotel couldn’t have been more welcoming, even bringing over apple juice, biscuits and a colouring pack for the child with us without us even asking. They were always friendly. The food in the hotel was lovely, and the rooms were spacious and extremely clean. The rooms have a smart TV with a chromecast too so you can watch Netflix, Youtube etc. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and will be staying here when I return to Birmingham again. 10/10

The location of the hotel was great and has parking on site, which is a bonus. However, please note the height restrictions. We got stuck in the lift and you could not hear the instructions from Otis, therefore, the company needs to make sure these are maintained to a better standard as they are used constantly.

Wont stay again
Walked in check in was slow but they said they were busy so I'll give them that one, room was ok but bed pushed up to wall so partner had to climb down the bed to go to the bathroom. Room wasnt warm it was quite cold under the duvet. 10 oclock in the morning had a fire drill, alarm so loud and flashing in room no explanation for making everyone vacate rooms and no communication between staff and guests to say we could go back into the room. We went to a concert and stayed for the night and had an adjoining door to next room they complained about noise from tv in our room and had management knocking our door. We are a 60 year old couple so just made our trip a disaster. I will not stay there again as after management left telling us to keep it down all i could hear all night was the music from the clubs so didnt get to sleep till gone 4 so being woken up with a fire alarm was no joke. Also asked at bar for snacks or crisps as we were hungry and they had none said theyd ran out not a good thing when all you want is a snack and a drink before bed.

Incredible hotel, best breakfast offering ever
It was a one night stay for a concert at Symphony Hall. Very friendly, very ckean, Nespresso machine in room was a lovely touch. Breakfast exceptional, even freshly cooked omelettes... Will be our "go to" hotel next time in Birmingham. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
