Maria, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

By far the best staff most accommodating hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Perfect location and simply stunning with great entertainment team.
Emilia, 7-night trip

6/10 Okay

The room was stuffy and very small. Didn't realize it was so far from Funchal.
Lorrie, 2-night trip

Nilsson De Pinho, 4-night trip

10/10 Excellent

This is not the Ritz Carlton, but it doesn’t have to be. Super staff, beautiful location on the edge of delightful little bay. Views to die for, pool, better than average breakfast. The furnishings are older, but not worn, and the place is very clean. Great value for money.
Craig, 1-night trip

Overall, very enjoyed the stay. Breakfast was great and there were lots of activities offered from the hotel for an additional fee. Location was great as well and I’d love to come back!
Jeesun, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The staff is fantastic. The property is well kept, but is an older 10 years but in good repair. I think the property is better than many of the reviews that expected a new property. We like the quiet cute town of Machico. We worked with the hotel staff to extend our stay 4 more days!! Many nice restaurants in walking distance, It about 20 euros to get Uber to Funchal for tourist shopping.
Robert, 4-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Nice hotel with limited parking

Slightly dated looking, but seemingly well kept high rise hotel perched up in a corner close to the beach in Machico. Comfy bed, clean and relatively spacious room, and clean bathroom, too. Good water pressure in shower. Very good breakfast in a nice big room with a nice view over the bay. Only negative thing to me was very limited parking. But, I'd stay again!
Jan Asle, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

The perfect place

Dream of a place with exceptional staff. Room with fabulous views and lovely dining area. My only problem was finding my way around the site, but that could just be senility! There for my 75th birthday
Elizabeth, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Everything is clean, neat with many types of areas for relaxing, Reading, swimming, games room etc., close to beach and restaurants. Breakfast was generous.
Leona, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Generally I think the property is good. The front dedk manager could be a bit more friendly.
Tola, 4-night trip

8/10 Good

Passable. Property could use some paint and better quality bedding.
Sarah F, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The hotel itself is located in a beautiful and quieter part of the island, well away from the hustle and bustle of Funchal, which is very orientated towards tourists , busy and very hilly. The hotel and the area has a more relaxed atmosphere and environment as you are located in a town which is more realistic of the real traditional Madeira. The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable, spotless with fantastic views of the sea. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They are happy to go the extra mile to help with any additional needs you might have. As a disabled daily wheelchair ♿️ user the help from the staff was greatly appreciated. There are no large hills to or from the hotel to the town centre, restaurants, shops, banks etc and the beach to have to negotiate unlike Funchal thankfully. I would be more than happy to return for another stay at the hotel and area.
Neil, 4-night trip

10/10 Excellent

I like the location,no cars in front of my room view, ocean and silence I wish the breakfast would be in smaller room with fresh caffe Staff very nice and ready to help I have great vacation
Joanna M, 13-night trip

8/10 Good

Continental breakfast was excellent, thank you
Piers, 1-night trip

Outdated

Very outdated, needs update. 5 min drive to airport. Smelly rooms, old bathrooms, paper doors to corridor.
Donatas, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Handy hotel for the airport, nice dining room with extensive breakfast buffet. Hotel and rooms very dated. Free parking but very few spaces.
