A very pleasant stay. The hotel is ideally situated in a central location. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that our room overlooked The Light, meaning we were disturbed by the light at night and we were woken at 8 o’clock to the sound of Christmas music

There was a column in the centre of my room, which made the room cramped. Shower but no bath. And I waited 10 minutes to check in because their checkin system is so slow, and there were only 2 staff on duty at 3pm which is when checkin opens, so it's when a lot of people want to check in

Polite check in with usual upselling. Room was an odd shape in a location which meant windows couldn’t be opened. It was horribly stuffy, glitter and someone else’s finger nail on the floor, bulbs out above the bed, broken desk light and shower. The lady Gabriel who checked us in was lovely and polite and she gave us a free upgrade to a superior room. The room was lovely but furniture a little tired with scratches on the wood. There was also stains on the carpet. Bed was so comfy. Plenty of sockets and UsB points. Lovely bathroom with shower gel and shampoo provided. Didn’t eat or drink at the hotel but the bar area looked very good
