It was a lovely stay! The breakfast exceeded my expectations with so many options. The room was a good size with a large bathroom with a good shower. The safe was very useful. The location made it easy to walk anywhere in the city and felt very safe. It was very quiet as well.

The hotel it self is really beautiful, they have put a lot of effort into it. The room was just like a premier inn. The bed was superb, extremely comfortable. The shower space was small, kinda had to stand in the open (away from the wall) to fit which made the floor get very wet. Breakfast was very nice, however there are a lot… and I mean a lot, of fruit flies flying and landing on all the uncovered food. Parking is EXTREMELY TIGHT. I drove an MG HS 2023 in there, and got it to the back of the parking garage. It was a very tight fit with a few 10-15 point turns just to get around the pillars which divide all the parking spaces.

Very convenient location. Pleasant, comfortable rooms, large internal courtyard area a good breakfast make this an excellent choice. Executive rooms all face the street so a little bit of noise is unavoidable. If this bothers you, book the classic rooms.

Lovely hotel perfectly situated in the heart of Bruges. Lovely reception, lounge and bar area. Plentiful options at breakfast with lots of fresh options. Room was comfortable and we slept well. I have dropped one star as the towels were the thinnest I’ve ever experienced they were also an off white/grey colour. There was also a dirty tissue under the bedside table by the bed that was there on arrival and was missed on both cleans. My daughters room also smelt of cigarette smoke espresso in the bathroom.

We have stayed at the 'Academie' several times. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast range is comprehensive and caters for all tastes. There is a nice bar area with seating also available in the court yard / garden. It would be great if the Hotel could open the dining room to serve lunch / evening meals. All in all a great Hotel and we wouldn't hesitate to use the Dukes Academie again.

We have stayed at Dukes Academie before and it has always been excellent; this time was no exception. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were very good and the breakfast superb. It is in an ideal location- near enough to the centre to walk there easily, but far enough away to be quiet. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby and there is so much to see & do.
