6/10 Good

Motel style in the middle of industrial estate
American style motel. Our room was good but we didn't sleep as we were on the ground floor next to the external stairs to the other floors. As this motel was in the middle of an industrial estate people had to use taxis etc to get to it after their night out. These pulled up outside our room every 10/20 mins as people came home. It was about 3/3:30 the last one turned up. Then about 5:30 a group of men who were getting up to either go to work or go home after staying here started to shout to each other from the balcony/walkway above asking where their drill was and other tools. After they had finished others where getting up to go early and where dragging cases down the stairs ways. So all in all not an enjoyable experience. There was no-one in reception as we left to say anything to just a box to drop off your keycard.

Avoid at all cost
Stayed with my 8 year old daughter. Booked online. When i arrived i had to pay a £50 deposit ( still not got back, which also wasnt stated before paying for the booking) I was then asked for ID for my daughter? Which made no sense at all. If im traveling with my daughter, why should i have to show you her passport, we are not leaving the country. Then when i got into the room, finally, i soon realised that there was nothing actually in the room worth £50 so the deposit was unnecessary. Kettle lid wasnt even attatched (room 47, go check) Holes in the curtains. Absolutely freezing cold all night in the room, even with the heater on ( the heater looked older than my nan, and shes in her 80's) I must have slept about 2 hours. daughter didnt sleep great either.. I checked out on sunday just gone, was told deposit would be returned to account at 1pm. Its now tuesday, 12pm. Still not recieved.

Don't Bother
Awful place, only booked as Travel lodge/Premier inn hotels were silly money. Hotel so dated and grubby, took 5 minutes for the water drain in the bath when I was having a shower, it also felt creepy, I was expecting Norman Bates knock on the door in the night, and when I woke there was a spider dangling over my bed.
