We found the refrigerator full of food left by previous guests. By the smell, it had been there a while. This should not happen. We have stayed at Rocky Mountain Resort many times in the last three decades and never had something like this happen.

Stay here if you wanna travel back in time!
Honestly, this is one of my favorite places to stay in Banff when I am not looking to feel fancy or spend a lot of money. The rooms are clean (if not a bit dated), the bar staff is in good spirits (even if they use premixes for their cocktails) and you really can't beat having the option of staying in one of their condo units and having access to a full kitchen. The Wifi is bad, but you're not really here to surf the internet, right? All in all, I kinda just love the old school vibes and the price.

Great stay. Fun weekend.
Our stay was great. However, we came up with a few suggestions. I was disappointed that the TV wasn't modern enough for my firestick. But we made do watching a movie off the laptop. Larger coffee mugs would be a nice upgrade. Maybe choices of coffee strength? It would be nice to have an hour of quiet of pool time at the end of the day. Finally, clean change rooms would be appreciated!
