Perfect Family Trip for 2 School-Aged Kids

We had a wonderful time! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful! The conditions were great within the hotel complex, however, the beaches had a lot of seaweed and the fear of a crocodile nearby kept us out of the ocean and limited our time on the beach. The amenities for kids were perfect for my family. I have a 7 and 10-year-old and my kids loved the slides, pools, trampoline area, activities for kids from the Kids Club, and lazy river a lot! We had a nice hotel room with a hot tub on the patio and that was a nice addition to our stay! All and all, it was the perfect place for my family!

Great Family Resort!

We had a great stay at the Royalton and would definitely come again! There were plenty of options for pools, activities for our children and we were able to try quite a few different restaurants! The only issue was limited spots by pools… you had to set an alarm and get down no later than 7am to place towels, items on chairs… also recommend taking the time to sit with a concierge and get dinner reservations. You can use the app but it’s more limited. Clean, nightly shows and activities… was a wonderful stay!

Fantastic Family Vacation Royalton Splash Cancun

We visited as a family of six (kids aged 12–17) from April 3–8 and had a wonderful experience. Check-in was smooth, rooms in Building 12 were clean with a great view, and the staff was friendly throughout. Days were spent enjoying the pools, volleyball games, and relaxing in cabanas—which were definitely worth the upgrade. Securing pool chairs early in the morning worked just fine for us. We had no trouble getting dinner reservations and enjoyed a variety of restaurants with good food and service. Shoutouts to Victor for fun evening entertainment, David at Grazies for great breakfast service, Ivan (cabana manager), and Jonathon for being super helpful all week. Highly recommend this resort for families looking for a fun, stress-free getaway with great amenities and even better service!

First it was such a pleasant surprise to have the Expedia.com welcome, concierge, discounts! We loved our concierge, Alejandro!!! He was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay! Everything was very clean--no complaints at all! I have been telling everybody to book through Expedia!!! The food was great, the employees were all so sweet and friendly, the rooms were very well taken care of, check out was easy. That being said--check-in took a very long time. Oh, loved the wrist band with our door key! We have a fabulous time!

There was a smell throughout the resort in certain areas. The food was ok. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a good time.
