The hotel itself is adorable. Unfortunately, there were some very, very loud guests making a lot of noise between 11PM (23:00) and 1AM (01:00) and it didnt seem like there was an easy way to contact the hotel about addressing it. Otherwise, it's super cute, cosy, comfy, and clean.

Wonderful place by a lake - not very common in Germany I think. We stayed just one night but the hotel is suitable for a longer stay with different kind of water activities and hikes. A pleasant 2 night stay.
A very pleasant lakeside location with lovely terraces. The restaurant is excellent, with probably the best cuisine in the area; but do note a buffet is served on Mondays and Tuesdays - which is also good, but not quite the same experience as the a la carte menu on other days. The rooms are good, but basic. This is more than made up in the lakeside views and peace and quiet - at night all that is heard is the nocturnal stirrings of dreaming geese!
