Buffet for NYE was blah. The food was meager. The mains and desserts were lacking in both quality and quantity, the money we paid! The manager Sean was super awkward walking around saying hi to everyone but he didn’t know how to engage in a convo with us. The menu - half of the stuff was not available. Not worth the money spent at the resort.

Enjoyed my stay the property is a bit further away from everything and the roads are harsh to drive on to get to and from the resort , however I enjoyed the staff and the food and the amenities they had to offer . I like how all of the staff were accommodating. Kevin, Reiner, Deondre, and Salvador made my entire experience better than I expected. The facilities were very clean and the resort was a nice/quiet getaway. I felt very safe and able to enjoy my relaxing vacation. I do wish there were more dining options on the property but the choices they did provide were great.

This resort has been such a great place to retreat away from city night life in San Pedro. We were able to relax our days there and enjoy activities provided at the same time. We went kayaking, bicycling, star gazing, karaoke, crab race, beach swimming and pool swimming in both pool locations. I was also able to do my nails in the spa which was nice and lovely. There were massages provided but I didn’t get the chance to enjoy that. I will next time for sure! The chefs were super welcoming and nice. They introduced themselves to our family and the food was super incredible! The staff were all super sweet and helpful. The suites were super clean, comfortable and relaxing. We will definitely be coming back for another getaway! Thank you Margaritaville for a great time during our stay.

As a Belizean-American who had not been to Belize in almost 20 years, I am very pleased to say I enjoyed my stay at Margaritaville Beach Resort Ambergris Caye. The staff was very warm and welcoming. This was my first time visiting San Pedro and I was here to celebrate my birthday. There weren't many authentic Belizean dishes on the menu but the chef accommodated me and made me a custom Belizean breakfast and a delicious birthday dinner. A drawback was the extensive amount of mosquitos; I could not step out the room without being bitten within seconds. There weren't other dining options around the resort because it is very secluded from the rest of San Pedro. Overall, beautiful property and I would definitely stay again with family.

Unfortunately, the beach area was still under construction and we could not enjoy the sand and the water as we planned/hoped to. Also the only restaurant in the property had a limited menu and many of dishes were unavailable. Not a good experience for our group.

The extremely friendly, informative, and helpful staff. The rooms (condo that could easily sleep 5 if need be) were always cleaned every morning. It is very remote on the Island off the coast of Belize called San Pedro. It can take 1 hr by golf cart or slow car to get 14 miles from town to resort. One restaurant and 2 bars there for now. Plans to expand the property in Spring 2024 will hopefully bring a paved road to Margaritaville! My kids loved it, and nearby attractions made having a golf cart for 3 days very useful. Free pick-up and drop off at the dock near the airport in San Pedro. Being so isolated all the snorkeling and dive boats come to you on the large property dock.

Stranded in the jungle
Everyone, please read this before you go. It is far from town! The drive is painful and enjoyable. I would highly recommend looking at other options. It's like the owners of this resort stranded everyone on this side of San Pedro and over priced everything to scam the guests! The food was horrible! I feel bad for Ken! He's so lovely and deserves to run a better place because this place is a dump. I would never again return to my life. We left early; this could've ruined our entire trip, and the worst part about this dump is that the prices are so high!!!
