We arrived around 10pm after 5 hours of trip, the weather was very hot even at night, it was 29 ‘C when we entered the room. The air conditioner was not working, so I called the front desk (which does not really exist physically) regarding this matter, but the guy at the front desk replied very impolitely and instead of giving me suggestions or admitting that he would be helping me, he told, not asked, me to reply to the message with check-in instructions, which was sent by email from Expedia that I’m unable to reply to. Failing the attempt, I called the front desk again, receiving an even more rude attitude. The room was so hot, so I decided to contact Expedia customer service and asked the agent to contact the property in behalf of me, which in the meanwhile I went to take a cold shower. The agent then told me the front desk agreed that he will assist me directly, so I gave him a call back. Before I got to speak a word, the front desk guy started with an angry voice and indicated my “way of dealing with this was unpleasant”. I’m like, man, who started all this and who refused to provide help? I’m the one who pays for your service!
That night we slept with no air conditioner and had to open the windows to allow some wind. The next morning, right after 6am, the construction started outside the building and we were woke up, sweaty and tired. We had no choice but switching to another hotel, and lost the money because the property refused to offer any refund. Avoid if possible!
