Medellín is a beautiful city and the people are very respectful and friendly. I loved that it has vegetation everywhere which allows for the temperature to be great all the time. Plenty of places to visit and we had good experiences with the taxis!!!

Laureles and el Poblado are walkable anytime but I would only recommend walking around downtown and Junin street before dark. Watch your valuables at all times when on foot and expect traffic and big crowds on buses/subway in rush hours

Stunningly beautiful city with amazing views, friendly people and Poblado felt relatively safe. Clean modern metro system. Really liked the streets full of restaurants, hotels and patio bars, and the youthful vibe around Poblado

La ciudad es muy bonita y fácil de visitar por su excelente transporte público. Sólo hay que tener cuidado con estafas en los taxímetros.

Busy and there is no culture of waking anywhere. No sidewalks and cars will never ever stop for pedestrians even kids.

If you are driving and you are used to orderly traffic laws, buckle up. The motos don't seem to have to follow laws and the turn signal does not give you entry into the road from a sympathetic driver. People are VERY friendly until they get in a car!
