First of all, you need a car to access this place so this is rule #1. Rule #2 is that its impossible to find, GPS and mapping technology will be fairly useless. Now, on to the property itself. It sits on a very steep hill with beautiful (distant) views of the sea and Gibraltar, and the rooms are staggered down the steep hill. We were there before the summer season and the property felt a bit tired but this may be due to it being off season. The rooms are spacious but lacking a good "flow" (the rooms are all broken apart versus an open floor plan). The terraces are quite large. If there are folks above you, you will hear every single noise (ex, chairs along the floors, walking, etc) making for some bad night's sleep. The breakfast is basic and the restaurant is OK, a very pleasant atmosphere with a great view. The property is probably a lot nicer in the summer.. Bottom line: if you can score a great deal like we did, AND need lots of space this place is worth staying at. OR if are an avid golfer, this property makes sense. If neither of those apply, you are probably better off in a less isolated location closer to the action.
